Raul is a Level 3 Certified Trampoline coach through Gymnastics Ontario and has nearly 10 years experience in the Olympic sport of Trampolining. This experience, combined with his passion for the sport, provides a fantastic platform for Airborne's athletes to build upon.
Airborne's head coach, Raul, and his coaching team host a structured training regiment which includes a mix of warm up & cool down, aerobic workouts, flexibility training, skill & form improvement, and confidence building to give Airborne's athletes the best possible chance to improve and grow in the sport of trampolining.
Airborne's Competitive Trampoline Team training facility consists of top quality equipment and highly effective training aids or use by all athletes. Airborne's Team always trains on Airborne's Olympic, high performance trampolines. These trampolines are specifically designed for the competitive sport of trampolining. What makes these trampoline special? Airborne's competitive trampolines use high performance springs, custom made trampoline beds, and custom made crash mats and safety padding to give maximum bounce, stability, and safety. All of Airborne's competitive trampolines are built by professional, experienced trampoline manufacturers right here in Canada.
Airborne's Competitive Trampoline Team utilizes professional training apparatuses to benefit our individual athletes progress. These apparatuses include …
Airborne's Spotting Harness: The Airborne Spotting Harness belt assists in the safe and efficient learning and practicing of flips and inversions. The Spotting Harness is designed in such a way that allows the supervising coach to prevent the athlete from landing incorrectly by applying resistance to the ropes which attach to the athlete spotting belt. This ensures the safest and most effective way to learn the difficult progressions involved in the more advanced skills & flips.
Airborne's Custom Designed Crash Mats: Airborne's custom designed crash mats are utilized as a progression tool for the various flips, twists and inversions required of a competitive athlete. They vary in size and thickness to allow a gradual progression from one mat to another, and eventually no mat at all. The general concept of the crash mat is to provide a soft, forgiving surface for the athlete to land on in the event of a fall or incorrect landing.
Airborne's coaches often observe jumpers in our Recreational & Total Trampoline Class programs. We encourage jumpers to begin their trampolining adventure in one of Airborne's fantastic Class Programs before progressing to the competitive trampoline world. If you dont think you are ready for the Competitive Trampoline Team program, check out all of Airborne's Classes And Lessons Programs to brush up on your skills & tricks, or lean some new ones.
