Newmarket Kids Activities – Airborne Trampoline North
Looking for Newmarket kids activities? Let us tell you what makes trampoline the best sport in the world.
While this question applies to all endeavors of learning, here I will focus on how this query pertains to my experience in the sport of trampoline. This is not an attempt to single out the sport as superior over any other; that would contradict the values of good will and sportsmanship all coaches and athletes should uphold. I personally believe that regardless of what sport we choose, and despite our level of involvement in it, we all must look at other sports as different, not better or worse. This is a mistake that I have seen made by professional journalists and commentators too many times. The idea that something is better than another only because we like it more reflects a potentially offensive level of subjective ignorance on behalf of the person holding it. Furthermore, it undermines the effort that competitive athletes put into their training. The passion that drives the shot-putter to launch kilograms of metal several feet away, burns no less furiously than the golfer’s desire to drive the ball far and high into the clouds; it simply burns differently – it emits a different light. I am willing to bet much that the trampolinist could not jump higher than the ballet dancer on the hardwood floor of the dance studio, nor could the dancer move as gracefully while being propelled with the intense force of the trampoline. Power, control and the execution of skills are relative to the preparation undergone by an individual in its methods; again, it is a matter of perspective, which while deserving of all the respect it can be afforded, cannot be seen as the only one.
Going back to my question of what makes Trampoline the best sport in the world, and the best sport for Newmarket kids activities? I could provide many answers that would only be fair within the context of my understanding of the sport. I can offer caveats of information about how it is good for the body; how it improves balance and promotes good core strength; how it appeals to that daredevil in all of us and thus makes us less prone to fearing occurrences of fast pace and high intensity. Backing my point on the physical benefits of trampoline training, James White, Ph.D., director of research and rehabilitation in the physical education department at the University of California at San Diego (UCSD), says that Rebounding allows the muscles to go through the full range of motion at equal force. It helps people learn to shift their weight properly and to be aware of body positions and balance. Though the science is inconclusive on Trampoline’s benefit to the human lymphatic, and therefore, immune system, many studies continue to show that working against the constant gravitational force of the earth helps stimulate cellular detoxification. I can say many more things about the sport that would make seem like it a great choice for anyone looking to improve their fitness levels. And if I were ever asked the question at the beginning of the paragraph, I would be foolish and disrespectful to say that something makes trampoline the best sport in the world, all I could safely do is present countless reasons why it is amazing, and that is all I would ever want to do.
